Here at TBS UK we are music fanatics! Everything from 1940s swing to Ozzy Osbourne. Our MD Phill Barratt is a gigging musician in his spare time and generates lots of cash for charities this way.

Continuing this theme TBS is working with Channel 4’s “Don’t Stop The Music” initiative hosted by celebrated musician JamesRhodes

"Don't Stop The Music" is a new documentary series produced by Fresh One for Channel 4 airing early September 2014. The Programme will follow James Rhodes, world-renowned international pianist, in his attempts to create a nationwide campaign to improve music education in the UK, including the provision of traditional orchestral instruments in primary schools.

We’re asking delegates and visitors coming to ad:tech to search their attics and dust off any instruments they have lying around and bring them to Stand 260 as a donation to this great cause. TBS will then make sure they are delivered to Oxfam who are the donation stations across the UK. The instruments will then be assessed and cleaned and distributed to primary schools!

Any instrument is welcome though for practical purposes a Grand Piano might best be picked up from the donator! Recorders, Ukuleles, harmonicas, tambourines etc. are all good examples!

You can click here for information about the initiative.
